  1. Gather ingredients
  2. Drain peas and rinse until water runs clear. Drain well.
  3. Put into food processor with garlic and pepper. Puree until it is a fine grainy paste
  4. Add flour, baking powder, cornstarch, cumin large bowl, and mix well.
  5. Mix pea mixture and water with the flour mixture and stir well.
  6. Add spinach, cilantro and salt to the flour pea mixture. Cover and set aside for 1 hour.
  7. rub some oil on hands so mixture won't stick.Take portions slightly larger than golf balls and shape into 1/3 to 1/2 inch thick disks.
  8. Heat oil on medium heat and fry in batches browning on both sides {about 4-5 min per batch}
  9. Drain on paper towels
