“Big Mama” Cinnamon roll cake
The basic cake part is what she used for all of her homemade poke cakes
Ingredients
She used white sugar for icing but I like the powdered
Cake:

cups
selfrising flour
4
eggs
1/2
cup
crisco
1 1/2
cup
sugar
1
cup
buttermilk or milk or a mix of both
2
tsp
vanilla
Filling:
1/2
cup
brown sugar
4
tsp
cinnamon
Icing:
2
cup
powered sugar
3
Tbsp
butter
melted
1/4
cup
milk
1
tsp
vanilla
Heat milk, butter, sugar, and vanilla. Pour over warm cake.
Instructions
Beat sugar and crisco add eggs and beat.
Add flour and milk and vanilla and beat 1-2 minutes. .
Spread 1/2 of this into a greased and floured 9×13 pan
Sprinkle filling mixture evenly on cake Pour and spread the rest of the batter on the filling.
Swirl with a knife
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes
Heat milk, butter, sugar, and vanilla. Pour over warm cake.
