Sour Cream Cheesecake
This cheesecake is inspired by the version served at my local exclusive department store dining room back in the 1960’s. Smooth and decadent, be sure to blend for 30 min to ensure a silky smooth texture.

Crust

¾graham cracker crumbs

Lazarus Chesecake Filling

packages cream cheese
softened

granulated sugar

eggs

tablespoon
vanilla
Sour Cream Cheesacake Topping
1 1/2
cups
sour cream
1/4
cup
granulated sugar
1
tsp
vanilla extract
Instructions
Mix softened cream cheese and sugar for 3-5 minutes.
Add eggs and vanilla. Beat the entire mixture for 30 minutes.
Pour the cream cheese batter into the graham cracker crust.
Bake at 300 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
Remove fromoven. Cool at room temperature for 20 minutes before
finishing with sour cream topping
Blend sour cream, sugar and vanilla together. Pour on top of cooled cheesecake
return to 300-degree oven for 10 more minutes.
